  Executed this command many times. Still same error on updates.

  I wouldn't expect the "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/expunge_expired_transfer_sessions" command to keep the update from failing completely. Are there any other failures mentioned in the log? If not, can you contact our team through a ticket so we can check the server?

  I'm with the same problem. Any ideia about this solution? Only this command is failing.   Thank you @quietFinn this solution fixed the issue. when I ran the query sqlite3 /var/cpanel/transfer_sessions/whmxfer.sqlite "select * from sessions" did not resulted in "Error: database disk image is malformed" as showed in the post. This query listed two sessions with no error. but I tryed to rename the database file to be regenerated mv -v /var/cpanel/transfer_sessions/whmxfer.sqlite{,.bak} runned /scripts/upcp again and whitout problem : )
