Webmail / Contact Forms 550-Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client.
As of yesterday after a cPanel update clients have been getting these errors. These are happening via webmail and contact forms on websites. Not via third-party tools such as Outlook.
ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256 CV=no: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:: 550-Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client.\n550-****.*******web.com [**.***.**.***]:39640 is not permitted to relay\n550 through this server without authentication.
Rejected relay attempt: '**.***.**.***' From: 'user@********web.com' To: 'hello@********.com'
Looks like it started right after an update. I updated and restarted my server 02-24-2022 12:40 am and the errors started happening Feb 24, 2022, 12:42:00 AM.

Looks like I had to restart CSF to fix the issue. I've restarted my server before so not sure why it broke this time. 0 -
That's definitely odd - I can't say for sure why that would be the case as we don't handle CSF on our end, but I'm glad you got that resolved! 0 -
I also turned off FKA SMTP Tweak and turned it back on so could be that as well. Anyways, it works not thank you. 0
