About authentication of mail users

Hello there I'm using the name of a local user for the authentication ID of the mail server I'm currently using. Is it possible to operate cPanel with a local user ID? After checking, I think that the full email address is used by default. Is it possible to customize it? I am using a translation tool, so it may be strange.
