Hey there! I removed the poll you had posted because it's not really something that needs to be voted on. Right now, Ubuntu support is available in cPanel version 102, which is currently in the Edge and Current tiers: We are expecting 102 to make its way to Release very soon!

I'm doing some tests. It takes a little more time to stabilize. The flaws and errors I've seen. + Litespeed not working (switch to litespeed failed) + mod_lsapi not support + Only mysql 8 database server (no mariadb support) + kernelcare free symlink protection no support + below php 7.3 not supported (only 7.3 7.4 8.x)

Do you have an idea about AlmaLinux? I Hope cPanel is supporting that too. What about your Litespeed and other things with AlmaLinux?

There is no problem with Almalinux, we use it on many of our servers. In Almalinux, php versions below php 7.2 are not supported, for lower php versions it needs cloudlinux and php selector. Since we have customers using php 5.6, 7.0 and 7.1, we still prefer centos 7 mainly, there is no problem for now as centos 7 support lasts until 2024. In 2024, we will pressure our customers to update their software to versions 7.2 and higher.

As WHM/cPanel is going to be supported on Ubuntu, which is a Debian derivative, can we have Debian support? Minimal effort for a big return and happy users... Also solves much of the Centos retirement problem. You know it makes sense :)
