When the time is right to get a new server?

    Load from 2,5 to 3,5 doesn't tell much without knowing your server's specifications, especially CPU. Look in WHM -> Server Status -> Server Information

    ^^^It could be the load average notification just needs to be reconfigured to properly alert you when there's an issue. If you could post the CPU specs and number of cores that would be helpful.

    If you are using CSF what is the value of PT_LOAD_LEVEL ?

    You can set that to 8, and see if you still get those overload messages.

    Please run lscpu and check total cores. If you have 8 cores then avg load 4 is fine its mean your system used 50% CPU. I also recommend you to install MobaExterm and enable Monitoring and you can see real time CPU, 50% To 60% its fine if websites not working slow., above 60% avg load its not fine for me.
