OS dilemma

Hi, First time setting up a dedicated server with WHM/cPanel. What OS do you use/suggest (I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to linux, but I manage somehow): Alma Linux 8, Ubuntu 20 or pay for Cloudlinux license?

  AlmaLinux8 is usually OK, except for some provider's config have network issues after reboot. Ubuntu 20 is the latest OS to be supported by cPanel, so not sure of all the quirks have been worked out CloudLinux most stable option with support, but costs extra

  Hey there! I think that @IndicHosts.net has some good input on this topic. To add on to that, you may want to consider the end-of-life dates for these operating systems, as AlmaLinux 8 and CloudLinux 8 will be supported the longest: What features are available with CloudLinux? Regarding Ubuntu, we have recently added full support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS in cPanel v102 so this would be another viable option.
