email export

We have a client that did not listen when we explained how to migrate their email before moving off our cpanel. They have migrated their website to another server. The old emails are still on our server. I've tried to export via horde but keep getting this error. i did remove our server name and replaced it with X's. I have successfully backed up and downloaded the site This site can"t be reached The webpage at might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE So my question is it possible to download is there anyway to download or export the INBOX.mbox and INBOX.Sent or is are the files in cur importable into an email application? Thank you in advance.

  I would not go that route, but they can use an email program to connect to their old account using IMAP (using your IP as their incoming mail server setting) and also connect to their new account and copy the messages over.

  I agree with @GOT and @quietFinn, copying the email over via a POP3/IMAP client or using Imapsync would work in this situation. You may also want to try increasing the cPanel max execution time and "Max cPanel process memory" in WHM > Tweak Settings to see if that allows Horde to export the email:
