Update process failed email alert

I received the following email, it would be nice if this type of alert did not occur. If the mirror is not found, the update should quietly exit and try again after some time. An alert should only be sent if the mirror is not found after several tries.

  Hey hey! I think we'd need a feature request for this, as it would require an overhaul of the notification system. Currently, the email gets sent anytime there is a failure that keeps the update from working. To implement your recommendation we'd have to apply some logic to detect the failure type, and a certain number of failures that would break a threshold to trigger the notification instead.
