Upgrading WHM 100.0.12 to 102.0.17?
Hi, is there a known, ongoing issue with upgrading WHM 100.0.12 to 102.0.17? I've been running WHM servers for more than a decade and it's the first time it takes that long. I'm used to upgrading WHM in under 5 minutes, but today I've started the upgrade task more than 2 hours ago and it's been CRAWLING its way, very, very slowly, so slowly that I've refreshed the page after an hour thinking my browser was the issue, but nope, it's still going. Now it's at 48% and it's been stuck on this step for at least 15 minutes.

[2022-05-29 10:47:32 -0400] - Processing command `/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs --list-only --long-list --notify`
Is this normal? What can I do to speed it up? At least it's sunday, but at this rate, I'm afraid it won't be finished tonight lol

There might be some temporary network issue for the slow speed. You will have to wait till the current upcp process completes. 0 -
I don't know if it's a communication bug between my browser and the server, but I had to log out and log back in to see that it was finished. It seems to be working fine. The new WHM interface is horrendous and very hard to find anything now, but it's beyond the point. Thanks. 0 -
You can also tailf the latest log file located at / var / cpanel / updatelogs /
to see the progress from commandline:# tailf / var / cpanel / updatelogs / update.{TIMESTAMP}.log0
