cPanel Log Rotation

Quick Question, Should we add (check Mark) this cpbackup_transport_history.log cpbackup_transporter.log are there any negatives if we do, it is not check marked and wonder if its best to check mark this to logrotate as well ? also cpgreylistd.log or any log that shows up unchecked ? thanks for your reply in advance Spiro

  Hey hey! If the file is getting large, there's no reason you couldn't add it to logrotate. One of my personal machines is using AlmaLInus 8.6 and I do see logrotate installed there. Can you run this command to see if the package exists? rpm -qa | grep logrotate
  We'd be looking for this output: logrotate-3.14.0-4.el8.x86_64

  I've been looking into this for a bit and I can't find anything on why this behavior would be happening. Could you make a ticket so we can do some additional research?

  Our team was able to confirm that this interface reads data from /usr/local/cpanel/logs, so if the specific log file is not present there, it won't show up in the interface.
