Possible to have SpamAssassin Scan internal emails
Hi, I've got a client who has a contact form on their website that allows anyone on the site to send an email to one of their accounts on my server, then they are forwarding that email to another server outside of my control. About 99.99% of that is spam and so when it's forwarded to the other server it's coming from their account on my server which basically makes it look like my server is sending the spam.
I'm wondering if there is a way for me to have spam assassin scan the internal emails, eg (user1@mydomain.com to user2@mydomain.com). Or any other suggestions that would allow me to stop that spam from happening on their contact form.
Thanks,

Thanks @cPRex. I already had that enabled but it's weird. When checking " Mail Delivery Reports
" there is nothing in the "spam score" section for those emails, but when looking atexim_mainlog
I can see the emails are being scanned. So I guess it's working, just seems that the spam score doesn't show inMail Delivery Reports
for outgoing mail. Do you know if that's by design? Maybe I can put in a feature request for that?0 -
That's a good catch - it doesn't seem to. Make that feature request and I'll add it to next week's meeting! 0 -
Excellent, I'll do that right now. Thanks! 0 -
