engintron plugin caching php files heavily, PHP file changes not visible.
Hi,
In our cpanel/WHM production server which is having engintron plugin installed. All of a sudden we have noticed php file changes were not visble at all. For example we have uploaded a "test.php" file which is just echoing a "test" string. Then we visited it from our devices (no matter which browser and incognito or not) the server is caching the response. As the engintron plugin was installed years before we have totaly forgotten that we were using this plugin. We have debugged the issue manually from scratch and finally we have managed to find it out where the problem is. It was related to proxy cache. We had to manually clear the proxy_cache_path for dynamic files which was having 1.8gb of cached files. All of a sudden the changes are visble. The plugin was not behaving like that for past few years. All of a sudden we noticked this strange behaviour.
Our concern is that we are using this plugin for about 4-5 years and this behavior began just a few days ago without changing anything. This is CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 running Nginx (v1.22.0) with Engintron for cPanel/WHM - v2.0 (Build 20220117). Is it a bug with the latest release of this plugin?

I'm sure other swill chime in, but if you think it's an issue with Engintron, you'd need to contact them. As far as I'm aware, that's a 3rd party plugin and not part of cPanel. 0 -
What @ffeingol said - we don't have any affiliation with Engintron, so if that behavior has changed you'd want to reach out to them to get their advice. 0
