Uhh... 2671 old emails from up to 2 years ago just appeared in my inbox?
I've been managing the same WHM server for 6 years in a row now and out of the blue, without any update done recently (last WHM update was like 1 week ago) I just received 2671 old emails in one of the inbox that's on that server. For no apparent reason. I've been using Thunderbird with the same 4 inboxes for years and I've never seen that. Has anybody seen that recently with cPanel? I have not done any modification to that inbox nor the computer I'm getting my emails with, absolutely no change whatsoever.

Hey there! I haven't heard of similar behavior from other users, but if it's just one inbox it would seem like something specific to that account or user. Is it possible something changed with Thunderbird, or maybe the IMAP settings didn't work and it switched to POP? 0 -

Absolutely nothing changed. Nothing on the server and nothing on the Thunderbird client. Nada. And yes, it's only happened to one inbox at the moment. So weird?!0 -
I'm not really sure what would cause that - *something* had to change, maybe on the server side or maybe not, but if you have root access you could always open a ticket with our team so we can take a look. 0
