High Availability Cluster Email Servers

I see that there is a Clustering of WHM but can you setup a HA clustered Email Servers so that when a primary mail server goes down the secondary mail server will take it's place? Key here is that all inbound and outbound emails will need to be available on both servers.

  Right now we are focusing on building out the HA systems core for web, DNS, and Database, but I personally am hoping to build off this technology to allow us to do email scaling and redundancy in the future.
