Missing .htaccess file at domain account

Hi, first of all I'm new here, saying a big HELLO to all members. I want to do some code changes, but don't find the .htaccess file at path home/domain/public_html for an additional domain which was created in my cPanel account. For the main cPanel domain, the .htaccess file is available, but not for the additional domain account. The strange thing is that the file will be displayed when searching for htaccess, but it is not at the file list and also cannot be opened. Attached two screenshots of the File Manager, one of the main, one of the additional domain.

  Welcome to forum! In the top right of the File Manager you should have a Settings option, and in there you'll have a "Show Hidden Files" option. Can you ensure that is enabled?
