Cpanel license error

Cannot Read License FileTo access the interface, you must install the license and ensure that the license is active.You can purchase or lease a license directly from Partners.If you do not currently own a license, register at the request a trial license. A License check appears to already be running.

  cPanel & WHM License Verification | cPanel, L.L.C. - this site actually comfirms i have a valid license but once i run usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt is gives update fail..

  Hey there! Do you see any other license checking processes running with either of these commands? ps aux | grep cpkey
  or ps aux | grep -i license

  @cPRex Thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately i didnt see any of these comands above but then i was able to fix it

  @cPRex it appears the cpanel was unable to update the license so i login to ssh, restarted the network, rebooted the server into rescue mode, reconfigured the network and run the license update which worked. i realize the issue was from the network onfiguration

  Esta es la parte más importante del mensaje de error:

  "El mensaje exacto era: Esta máquina no tiene licencia para un servidor en la nube. Se requiere una licencia de metal para esta máquina. (66.45.246.102)'

  Parece que estás intentando usar una licencia en la nube cuando se requiere una licencia dedicada. ¿Puedes comunicarte con cs@cpanel.net para que cambien el tipo de licencia de la máquina?

  This is the most important part of the error message:

  "The exact message was: This machine is not licensed for a cloud server. A metal license is required for this machine. (66.45.246.102)"

  It looks like you are trying to use a cloud license when a dedicated license is required.  Can you contact cs@cpanel.net to have them switch the license type of the machine?
