Different domain name for email etc. services - auto SSL update?

    Hey there! I'll ask the question behind the question - is there a particular reason or problem that you're solving by changing the hostname cert to that of the domain? There are many many cPanel servers out there that send mail just fine with the SSL that gets generated for the hostname of the server, so I'd be interested to know what led you to this resolution originally. But no, if you want that specific SSL in place on the hostname, the manual installation is going to be the only way to make that happen.

    Hey! There reason why the hostname for services is different is not technical, it's purely branding thing. We started the server with it's original name but soon changed the name of the service and instructed users to use e.g. "mail.ourservice.com" for email client configuration. And didn't realize at that point that the service certs didn't automatically renew.

    Thanks for that clarification. At this point, if you want to do that, manual work is the only method.
