Hey there! In version 104, we've added a tool to Roundcube webmail that will make this process easier. You can get more details on that here:

I don't use round cube, rather rain loop; is there not something for that client. In any case I want it to work with IMAP so that no matter what the client, it works in the background. Why I choose to try to get Spam Assassin setup so that I can have understand which emails I want marked as spam and for many just deleted. I would need something setup, even if it include Span Assassin very soon, the spam is out of control daily. Spam Assassin looks like it can do the Job, it's just a matter of getting it setup with some aid.

cPanel doesn't have any integration with Rain Loop, so I'm not sure how that operates. By default, I'm not finding any tools that let SpamAssassin work over IMAP directly. There are addons (How to setup Spamassassin to remotely remove spam messages from an IMAP account, and trigger KMail to update its cached IMAP folders - verot.net was one of the first search results) but that's also something that would have to be setup manually. This would make an excellent feature request if you'd like to get one submitted using the link in my signature.

If SpamAssassin doesn't work directly with IMAP, then how is it setup ? I'm currently hoping to get some help in setting up SpamAssassin manually, probably the best route to have complete control over the horrendous SPAM that I'm getting daily.

I guess I could have been more clear - while it does scan incoming messages, I don't have a way to make it mark and delete messages through other tools, other than what I mentioned in Roundcube. While I'm a firm believer of "anything is possible" I don't have an automated way to make this happen.
