Migrate Cyrus imap

HI, a client wants to migrate his mail from a mail server running Cyrus IMAP to cPanel. I have found the files containing the mails and I know where cPanel stores them. Problem is, can I just copy the mail-files into the cPanel mail directory? I see a naming convention in there and I don't know if mail will pop up as new mail or things might go wrong. I moved mail before from cPanel to cPanel account without issues, but I imagine this is a completely different thing.

  Another vote here for Imapsync. The odds of moving over flat files and hoping a new system reads them correctly is low.
