522 Errors
For some months now, my server goes AWHOL every 2 or 3 days due to 522 errors. Starts with one domain, but eventually if I don't manually reboot the web server, the others sites start to shut down one at a time. I brought this up several times with my web host, but they are not seeing anything, I had them check as soon as one happened, and load times were typical: very low. No errors logged anywhere to trace the source. Any suggestions? Is it possible to have server automatically reboot when this happens? Not an ideal, if evenly possible, solution as I would like to discover the source and fix it. But, getting desperate. This is an existential threat.

Are you using Cloudflare? What does "Error 522" mean? The 522 message, like so many other error pages on the internet, is an HTTP status message. The "5" indicates a server error, while the "2" after it implies that the server error has occurred because of Cloudflare. "Connection timed out" is a code that appears when the TCP handshake between the web server and Cloudflare screws up. 0 -
^^^It's definitely time to poke Cloudflare to see if they have any additional details on their end that may help narrow this down. Rebooting the server will only cause additional confusion as to what the root problem may be. 0 -

Thanks, will contact Cloudflare. I only reboot if been hours and/or to run some quick checks. Nothing I can look for server end?0 -
Probably not, although I'm not familiar enough with Cloudflare tools to know exactly how they handle that connection. 0
