302 Temporary Redirect
I am migrating all accounts from one server to another. Many of them went through flawlessly. However, I have several accounts that failed to transfer. When the transfer process is started, the new server is able to successfully establish a connection, but is then given an error of "302 Temporary Redirect." A few of the accounts then proceeded to start a backup on the old server. However, after the server finished the backup, the process stops with some sort of cPanel failure and the failure noticed always ends with "302 Temporary Redirect."
From the best I can tell, each of these accounts were originally transferred to the old server from an even older server. However, they are still operating just fine on the existing server. They just won't transfer to the new one. I found an old "cpmove.psql" directory and "cpbackup-exclude.conf" file in the root of each of these accounts. But, my attempt to remove those and try the transfer again yielded the same results.
What do I need to do to these accounts to prevent the errors/failures and get a successful transfer?

Hey there! I wouldn't expect the presence of the cpmove.psql or the cpbackup-exlude.conf to harm the transfer in any way. Can you get me more details on where you're seeing the 302 error? I'm not familiar with that error as part of the Transfer Tool process in WHM, so if you have any more context for that it could be helpful. 0 -

That's interesting - if you run "/scripts/pkgacct username" on the Source server, are you able to package the account normally or does that also give errors? 0 -

That's all I'll post for now. :)0 -
Thanks for the additional details. I'm not finding anything similar on my end, so it's likely time to open a ticket so we can do some additional troubleshooting. If you're able to do that, can you post the ticket number here so I can follow along? 0 -
I believe I have found the issue. While testing passwords on the old server, I realized that the accounts with issues had a password that was "insecure" according to the cPanel settings. When I tried to login to cPanel on the old server, I was forced to change the password. Once I did that, the accounts transferred properly with no redirect error. I haven't moved all accounts, yet. But, I'm optimistic that this solves the issues with all accounts. 0
