Restore Cpanel backup in Almalinux

Hello, I want to update from CentOs7 to Almalinux 8.5. I will clean Almalinux 8.5 & Cpanel install losing all data (*) Is it possible restore a Cpanel server backup in Almalinux withou problems? What is the best option for restore my server data? Many Thanks. (*) Hetzner Install Almalinux. See attached image: -12-25 a las 14.10.59.png">80761

  cPanel backups are pretty much OS version independent, so you can easily restore your CentOS 7 backups to Alma 8. If you can afford 2 servers, you can simply use the built in transfer system to move them between servers.

  I would also recommend transferring the data to a new system instead of overwriting an existing server. That will minimize (or potentially eliminate) your downtime, and you don't have to hurry as much to move the data since the sites will be running off the old machine.
