Update Licensing

I currently have 6 domains all licensed with cPanel. 3 domains are active. 3 now redirect to one of the 3 active domains. I have cPanel Pro Cloud license. I was thinking of removing cPanel from one domain, and migrating to Admin license. How do I do this?

  Hey there! After you remove the domains so you're under the Admin license limit, contact our Customer Service team at cs@cpanel.net (or through a normal support ticket, whichever is easier for you) and they'll be able to help adjust that license setting for you.

  Remove domains how? They are still all hosted, and will remain as such. I want to exclude cPanel from one of them. I assume when done, the one domain will continue to redirect (via .htaccess) to one of the other domains.

  That means you can have 3 cPanel accounts, and those 3 redirecting domains can be aliases for one of the cPanel accounts. cPanel licensing is per cPanel accounts, and one cPanel accounts can have (if needed) several aliases and/or addon domains.

  What @quietFinn said - once there is fewer than 6 cPanel accounts on the server you can talk to our Customer Service team about changing the license. The licensing is per-cPanel account, not per-domain.
