Calendars and Contacts password not working
I have setup a new server and installed the DAV daemon. However, the existing email account passwords do not work for login. I have tried doing password resets and they work fine for IMAP, SMTP, Webmail, etc., but they do not work in connecting to the DAV server. I always get a "401 Unauthorized" error.
I have made sure the ports are open in the firewall and have tested the connection to the server on those ports via telnet.
I have contacted my (highly reputable) hosting provider and they have not been able to solve the issue either. What can I do to get the password for DAV in sync with the email account passwords? Since no email account is able to login, could it be some other issue besides password synchronization?

Hey there! Can you get me more details on where you're specifically trying to log in? I'm not familiar with any tool where you log in to the DAV daemon directly, as that just runs in the background and handles things for you. 0 -
All you have to do is add the port (2079, 2080) behind the domain in a browser to login to DAV. Of course you need to connect via iOS to sync the contacts/calendar, but you can at least test the connection this way. 0 -
There isn't a supported way that I'm aware of to login directly to either of those ports on their own. 0 -
There is a way, supported or not. Regardless, that is not the issue. The issue is that when using CardDav/CalDav in the intended environment, all accounts are being denied access with the correct login info. 0 -
Could you submit a ticket to our team so we can check this directly on your system? 0
