WHM cPanel and SELinux
Hello everyone. I setup a WHM & cPanel instance on AWS Centos 7.
Recently I have noticed high CPU and memory usage from /usr/bin/python -Es /usr/sbin/setroubleshootd -f. I read on a forum that WHM and cPanel is not compatible with SELinux, but that was back in 2011.
Is it still the case that we should not have SELinux running with WHM & cPanel?
Thanks

Hey there! That is still correct - cPanel is not compatible with SELinux, and the installer will tell you that as part of the installation pre-flight checks. 0 -

Thanks for the reply. I installed this version of cPanel/WHM/Centos via the AWS Marketplace. I am not sure who setup that AWS image. So whoever did that, didn't know to disable SELinux.0 -
Can you let me know which specific image that was so I can have that team take a look? 0
