Kernel update and patch
When I run a command:
1. kcarectl --update
The `1` patch level is not found for `free` patch type. Please select valid patch type or patch level
When I try to update:
2. yum -y update
No Packages marked for Update
Is it another option to update a warning notice?

You can use kernalcare for auto update and patch the vulnerabilities of kernal 0 -
What warning are you receiving about the kernel from the system? 0 -
kcarectl --update Message: The `1` patch level is not found for `free` patch type. Please select valid patch type or patch level 0 -
Okay, better question - what led you to run the kcarectl command in the first place? Is there an issue on the machine? 0 -
I try to do a simple task. Kernel update is a paid solution and even paid option does not execute installation if I understand. So, I try to make update using Linux command. Which Linux command should be performed to do it in the correct way and manually update > restart as small as possible interruption. 0 -
So, the extra patches are not available for CloudLinux kernels is a security issue as extra means more secured updates or I am wrong? We need to move to DEFAULT using a command as default are more secured not the CloudLinux kernels? If we decide for a paid solution for updates, it is used DEFAULT update or CloudLinux kernels? 0 -
So you are suggesting that KernelCare (made by CloudLinux inc) installs less secure patches to CloudLinux kernels (Made by CloudLinux inc)? You are just assuming that extra is more secure than default, for CloudLinux kernels. 0 -
