Editor and stored values

I have modified values of the file using text editor. An example: vi /etc/sysconfig/memcached How to store values and save using the correct values and editor?

  Hey hey! This isn't a cPanel issue, but this should have been something you could find with a web search. Press Escape, then : then enter w and q at the prompt, which stands for "write" and "quit" - press enter and that will save the file.

  I rather use nano. It is much better.
