Received mail ? Successful root Login from an Unknown Network -don´t see in logs

Hello, I have cPanel&WHM version 106.0.15. I have received this mail: I do not see in any logs, messages, secure that from IP 10.252.18.16 login was successuful. Where should I be able to see it? Best regards, Elizabeta

  Which log files have you checked so far? How about /usr/local/cpanel/logs?

  10.252.18.16 is a "private IP", 10.0.0.0 " 10.255.255.255

  I would expect that to be logged in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log. That would show the action along with the IP address, but since it is a private IP it has to be a local admin or your hosting provider or something similar.
