Block cPanel and WHM access
Hello,
I'm trying to block access to WHM for rest of the world accept me. After denying whostmgrd from Host Access Control for others, I see the "HTTP error 401" page with cPanel logo, but I completely want to deny access without even showing this.
Is there a different way of accomplishing this?
Thanks.

Hey there! This is controlled through various files at /usr/local/cpanel/base/unprotected/cpanel/templates/, specifically the access_denied.tmpl and _error_wrapper template files. However, this isn't designed to be overwritten as we overwrite that every time the system performs an update. If you'd like to manually adjust those files you could add them to the exclude file that we describe at 0 -
Thanks for the prompt reply, but is there a way to complete block access to 2087 for rest of the world without showing this page? 0 -
I'm not aware of a way to do that with the current configuration. If you'd like to submit a feature request using the link in my signature I can bring that up with the team on Monday. 0
