Installing error
Hello.
Today i wanted to try to switch from Plesk to cPanel.
So the thing is.
Installation went fine and smooth. Started setup. Activated my 15 day trial license. And like after 5 minutes server just crashes.
It's not responding. No errors in ssh. Server just went like offline, even if its turned on. Im using AlmaLinux 8, as my hosting provider dont offer Centos or some of supported OS by cpanel.
Firewall was disabled completly to avoid interruptions.
I reinstalled OS around 5-10 times, and tried it multiple times. And its the same problem all the time.

Hey there! There isn't anything in the cPanel installation itself that would make the entire server go unresponsive. If you'd like us to help troubleshoot this issue, could you setup the operating system as you were before the installation and then submit a ticket to our team so we can test the install for you? You can email cs@cpanel.net to get that process started, since you won't have access to WHM or your support ID without cPanel installed. 0 -

Unfortunatly i cant send message. Because my server uses RSA key for auth, i added it in attachment. Than google drive. it does not work. Is it possible to send it another way ?0 -
Once you have a ticket created you'll have an option to access the ticket system and add the key directly there. 0 -

Update from my hosting provider. cPanel has a better security provided than Plesk. What I really like better. My suggestion from provider was to take dedicated server not vps, as on dedicated don"t have any limitations. That"s what I did. I taked a dedicated server, installed cPanel with 0 problems. Now everything is up and running, and more comfortable than Plesk. Will take my license with cPanel. And enjoy satisfaction from my clients. Thanks a lot ?? 0 -
Update again. I occured same problem on new dedicated server. Contacted cPanel support by email. Inquiry number: 94534628 After installation everything was fine, no problems was occuring. Today server went unavailable to me. Even recovery mode fails to let me in Im thinking what is occuring this problem, not on VPS, and not on Dedicated server. All went down. VPS went down immediatly, Dedicated went unavailable after 1 day. Will update, when will receive answer from cPanel team. I'm proceeding with new installation for server. Letting cPanel team do their job. I wanted to use AlmaLinux, but my provider only supports AlmaLinux 9 while cPanel not. So i have to proceed with Ubuntu 20.04 LTE, as its only option except Centos 7 available to me. Fingers crossed. 0 -
I see in the ticket you were able to find an issue with the firewall, and after resolving that the installation is working normally. 0
