Problem Autoresponder in ver 108.0.11
hi guys
the new update of cPanel 108.0.11 I treated this error with the autoresponder :
When I send an email from a@a.com to b@b.com (with autoresponder configured), I get the following error
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/autorespond: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/532/lib/perl5/532/x86_64-linux-64int/auto/MIME/Base64/Base64.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
what would be the problem? how can it be solved?

Hey there! This sounds like an issue with a missing cPanel system file. Can you try running "/scripts/upcp --force" on that machine to see if that resolves the issue? 0 -
Same issue here, running upcp --force as I type this. 0 -
Interesting - since we didn't hear back from OP, let us know if that resolves things! 0 -
The upcp force did NOT recreate the missing file. The directory /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/532/lib/perl5/532/x86_64-linux-64int/auto/MIME/Base64/ is empty. 0 -
Thanks for that - and just to confirm, this error gets triggered with any autoresponder setup in cPanel? 0 -
With any account really, because many of them had an autoresponder in the past that is not active now, so the pipe still exists. I'm getting multiple reports. Also run cagefsctl --force-update cagefsctl --remount-all
as mentioned in another thread, it didn't fix it. My servers got v108 today, so the problem is related to this.0 -
Can you let me know where that error appears in the interface? I sent an autoresponder message both from webmail and an external account, and I'm not seeing the error in Webmail or in the Exim logs. 0 -
Customers simply get an email bounce with the error. Example (redacted): The following text was generated during the delivery attempt: ------ pipe to |/usr/local/cpanel/bin/autorespond SENDER-EMAIL /home/USER/.autorespond generated by SENDER ------ /usr/local/cpanel/bin/autorespond: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/532/lib/perl5/532/x86_64-linux-64int/auto/MI ME/Base64/Base64.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
(By the way, the "CODE" button doesn't insert the code tags for me, it opens the list of forums, weird)0 -
We are aware of the code button issue. While I don't see the file on a test server, I also can't reproduce the bounce. The autoresponder works well, and the sender does not receive any type of bounce message. Could you create a ticket with our team since you have a system where you can make that happen? 0 -
Will do. Have you tried with a disabled autoresponder? (with the date in the past or something) 0 -
I hadn't, but I did just now and I can't make the bounce happen with that either. 0 -
Thanks, will open a ticket. 0 -
Was there any resolution or further information on this issue? We had a client get the same errors with Autoresponders set but inactive. Removing the inactive autoresponder fixed the issue but the library is not in the Base64 folder on the server. 0 -
No - so far we haven't been able to reproduce this issue on our end. If you can, please submit a ticket so we can see this in action. 0
