@efanning - it's important to note that cPanel doesn't provide support for the CSF/LFD firewall, as that isn't something we create or distribute. As @quietFinn mentioned, you would want to restart CSF with the "csf -r" command after making any changes to that configuration on the command line.

@quietFinn - I did, several times. @cPRex - Thank you, I did not realize that. I guess this could be closed then. Thank you

We may still be able to help, I just wanted that to be known before we got too deep :D When you say it's going to the "wrong" email address, it's being sent to somewhere different than the address you have configured in the WHM >> Basic WebHost Manager Setup page?

I forgot about that page, but after checking, yes. They are going to alerts@mydomain.com rather than efanning@mydomain.com. I have checked everywhere that I am aware of and cannot find that email address being used at all. Now, alerts was fine, but we're redoing some things and need to change that address.

Here's the relevant configuration option from the /etc/csf/csf.conf file: ############################################################################### # SECTION:Reporting Settings ############################################################################### # By default, lfd will send alert emails using the relevant alert template to # the To: address configured within that template. Setting the following # option will override the configured To: field in all lfd alert emails # # Leave this option empty to use the To: field setting in each alert template LF_ALERT_TO = ""
Do you have anything specified in that area of the file?
