Hey there! For option 1, we have this setting in WHM >> Tweak Settings: "Preferred mail service to configure to use for Thunderbird and Outlook autodiscover and autoconfig support" that you can change from IMAP to POP3. For number 2, that isn't something we support at this time. I see there is a very old feature request at 0 -
Thank you for your reply. 1st one I checked the setting you mentioned and its already POP3, but autodiscovery is grabbing IMAP. For the 2nd one, I already checked that topic, but it's about changing the domain part which I have no issue with. What I want is to change the autodiscovered ports to SSL ports 110 > 993, 143 > 995, 567 > 465 Finally the autodiscover grabs "mike" as username for mike@domain.com, however the mailserver requires entire email "mike@domain.com" to authenticate, if only "mike" is entered as username, it gets rejected. Thanks for the additional details. It doesn't sound like that tool is working properly for you, so it would be best to create a ticket with our team so we can do some investigation directly on your server. 0 -
It seems I didnt not have the parent option turned on.. So... it grabs the correct settings and solves all of my issues i mentioned. BUT I am getting this weird error in Thunderbird, any idea what this might be ? Also another issue is, while thunderbird is grabbing everything right, Outlook is still trying to default to IMAP instead of POP3 Thanks for the additional details. Thanks again, I hope outlook gets fixed eventually. Any Idea what that "NS_ERROR..." might be in Thunderbird ? I'm glad you were able to get the core functions working. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do for Outlook at this time due to the way their tools are configured. More discussion on that can be found here:
