Cannot Read License FileTo access the interface
I got a license before going to bed last night only to wake up this morning with the below message, I go the license directly from the WHM Dashboard and I assumed I was getting the correct thing which should last until next month but today when I checked it says it expired yesterday. -03-23 at 07.34.43.png">81969
Cannot Read License FileTo access the interface, you must install the license and ensure that the license is active. You can purchase or lease a license directly from Partners. If you do not currently own a license, register at the request a trial license.
The cPanel license server said that a license could not be issued for your server (66). For more information visit: 81977

Have you tried opening a ticket with cPanel support about this? 0 -
I think I must have missed this message Have you tried opening a ticket with cPanel support about this?
At the time of creating this thread, I couldn't.t create a ticket but then I found a mail which I'd missed stating that my cPanel Store has been cancelled because of some billing details verification issue and I was asked to send my Card (front and back) with a Government issues document (font and back).0 -
Glad you found the reason! 0 -

I sent the document as requested and have been waiting to get a response after I got a mail with the following; This is a business we are talking bout, their emails are required to me up and running for business to go as expected and at least if cPanel needed to cancel the license they could have at list roll us back to the trial license which was still on before the payment was made.0 -
It's really sad that this thing happened like this and I was already wondering if I should have just stayed on the trial license until it expired because, for the whole of today, the business has been down. The issues have been resolved now as I just got a mail stating that the verification was a success and I could go ahead with requesting a new license for my IP Address which I just did. 0 -
I'm glad you were able to get this resolved. For future issues, there isn't anything we can do on the Forums for licensing, as that all has to be handled by our Customer Service team. If you can't submit a ticket for some reason, you can always email cs@cpanel.net to start a ticket directly with that team. 0 -
We're having the same issue on a new server as of this morning - started a trial, bought a license and then the trial is suddenly expired but the new license has an issue. I can't seem to expedite the request because the support system says I don't have permission to do so. Is there someone we can phone to sort it out quickly? We honestly don't mind paying a fee to resolve it quicker as we are trying to onboard clients in a new region. Perhaps a suggestion to the cPanel team: Keep the trial license active while the upgrade to a paid license has not yet been finalised. As someone who has used the software for a very long time, I am accustomed to the activation being immediate, and I am sure many of your other users expect the same. 0 -
If anyone else is having this issue, I just spoke to technical support, and they advised me to order a new license. I did that and it worked. It seems you can request a refund for the extra charges, but this is the quick way to solve the problem. 0 -
@ichost - I'm glad you found a good solution. All license issues do get flagged as an emergency in our ticket system so we get to those as fast as we can. 0
