I can't install PHP with EasyApache 4
Hello,
I try to install PHP but at the Review step, i got error :
" Update Error: Timeout waiting for distro lock files related to /usr/bin/yum at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Binaries/Cmd.pm line 395. "
I try :
yum clean all
yum update
I also reboot the server but still same error.
Please help me.
Thank you.

Hey there! Did the yum commands not show any errors on the server? If not, can you try running "/scripts/upcp --force" to force an update of the cPanel tools to see if that resolves the issue? -1 -

Hello! I believe I'm getting the same errors. I'm attempting to install Ioncube loader for PHP 8.10 -
@Rammahhh - could you create a ticket with our team so we can take a look at the server? 0 -

Can one of you please submit a ticket to our team? Unfortunately I don't have any additional details on this particular error so a ticket would be best so we can do some troubleshooting. 0 -
I am also facing the same issue. tried a few commands. not worked. 0 -
@shohan - if you can run a "yum update" without an issue and you aren't seeing any problems with the packages on the system, please submit a ticket to our team. I don't see that any previous users in this thread have submitted a ticket to resolve their issue, so I can't have anything I can share at this time. 0 -
Hello, I am getting the same error too. Any luck with the solution? 0 -
@ibnshehu - did you try a "yum update" on the server? If so, did that reveal anything about the situation? 0 -
@cPRex, yes i did and it updated my files succesfully, nothing happened. But the error is still there 0 -
If you don't see any additional helpful information in the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log file, can you submit a ticket to our team so we can take a look? I'm not finding much about this error on my end. 0 -
After running ps auxwwf | grep yum This is the result root 240913 0.0 0.0 12148 1152 pts/1 S+ 14:37 0:00 | \_ grep --color=auto yum 0 -
I wouldn't expect that command to show much related to this issue. 0 -
what command should I run please? 0 -
I'm not sure - it would be best to submit a ticket so we can look at the system. 0 -
