    Hey there! Do you have a different MX record configured for the subdomain? If not, it would be using the MX record fo the main domain to send messages, which is likely why you're hitting the Office365 system.

    Thank you for messaging so quick. I thought that too, so I created an MX record for subdomain.maindomain.com to use another external MX server (not Office365) and it still shows Office365. So confusing.

    That's just odd - if you do a "dig MX domain.com" and "dig MX sub.domain.com" do those show the different MX records in place?
