ImunifyAV doesn't detect threats!

I have been trying to test ImunifyAV on my server using the eicar test file but no matter how many times I get ImunifyAV to scan the file, or even the ZIP file version, it says no threats found! So I tried purchasing the ImunifyAV+ version, but that does the same thing. Finally, I removed ImunifyAV and installed ClamAV, which detects and removes the eicar test file first time. However, each time ClamAV runs a manual scan, it goes through a "loading" and "compiling" process before it actually scans anything. Is that really necessary, especially as the database files have already been downloaded on to the server by freshclam? I'm assuming this process is the downloading of the signatures, but even if I use the command below, the same "loading" and "compiling" process kicks off: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/clamscan -r --database=/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/share/clamav --remove /root/eicar*

  I reached out to the Imunify team and they are reviewing that ticket now, so you'll be hearing more details from them soon. I'm also following along with that ticket so I'll post anything they find here to keep everyone updated.
