Can/Does cPanel automatically restrict email accounts?

I have an account where there are multiple email accounts that have been restricted and I have not made any such restrictions. Can this happen automatically somehow? Please advise.

  In the Email Accounts list I have 25 out of 78 email account that show restricted. ! Cannot Login and ! Cannot Send Email But I have never made these adjustments manually.

  Without root access, the only thing you'll be able to do is reach out to your hosting provider or datacenter to see if they can provide you more details on the issue.
