Update Exim Version from 4.96 to 4.97, on CPanel 110.0.5

Exim 4.96 (on CPanel 110.0.5) crashes and fails to deliver emails with messages in panic log "bad memory reference; pool not found". There is a specific fix in 4.97 that addresses this (

  Hey there! While they have started work on 4.97, there is not even a release candidate available yet for testing, so it will likely be some time until this version is available and ready for use. You can always see what version(s) are available here:

  oh... haven't realized it's not out yet. Thanks! Do you think or know if I can possibly apply a specific patch or roll Exim to 4.97. I understand I will be out of support for email, but this is really critical. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

  I'm not aware of a good way to apply that patch to an older version at this time. You're certainly welcome to try and use the beta, but we can't guarantee it will work well on a cPanel machine.
