Test for open relay
The main server IP on one of our Alma Linux boxes has been listed on UCEPROTECTL3 . I have gone to their site and they seem a tad shady (eg if you pat a monthly fee, they will never list your IP). Anyway I think we are having issues because of a clients 10,000+ subscriber base Mailman mailing list. The 'good folks' at UCEPROTECTL3 say it is most likely an open relay.
How do I go about testing for open relays on this box and if I do find one how do I fix it.
Also, do anoy of you knwo if there are known issues with Mailman that would be relevant?
Thank you much...

Just google "uceprotect scam" 0 -
There are plenty of services to test if your server is an open relay - such as : I would escalate this up to your data centre/web host and probably start looking for a new one with a decent anti-spam policy. 0 -
Are you using OVHcloud? UCEPROTECT has them and many others level 3 listed for quite some time. UCEPROTECT is BS in my opinion and should be ignored, however, some providers use them and will block your mail if you're IP or range is listed. Hence the reason many use a 3rd party to send mail. 0 -
Another vote here to ignore anything from UCEProtect. 0
