CPANEL-42899 - Header Response
When I inspect I get two returns for the same thing - how do I eliminate one of these?

Hey there! Can we get a bit more content about where you're seeing this and how your server is configured? 0 -
Check your .htaccess file in the root of your site's main folder (typically public_html). .htaccess is a system/hidden file, so in File Manager you'll need to enable "Show Hidden Files" in your File Manager settings (found at the top right in File Manager). 0 -
If I go to webmail.myowndomain.com in firefox Right click in open space and choose "Inspect" Network Reload Click on the top item it then loads the responses and at the top I see the following twice, I need to figure out how to get rid of these so it doesn't duplicate I see the following twice Cache-Control no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, private 0 -

Below is the content of my .htaccess file #blank .htaccess # php -- BEGIN cPanel-generated handler, do not edit # Set the "ea-php56"" package as the default "PHP"" programming language. AddHandler application/x-httpd-ea-php56 .php .php5 .phtml # php -- END cPanel-generated handler, do not edit0 -
Thanks for the clear reproduction steps. I can make this happen on every cPanel server I tested, so the issue isn't unique to your machine. Are you seeing this cause a problem with the server? 0 -
It is not causing a problem, but my client, a large bank wants that duplication gone. I don't know if they will rest until the duplication has been removed :) 0 -
Let me reach out to the user interface team and I'll let you know what I find! 0 -
The developers were interested in checking this out, so I've created case CPANEL-42899 to have them take a look. I can't say for sure when (or if) the issue will be resolved, but I'll be sure to post updates as I hear them! 0
