Hi, I am having issue installing cpanel on ubuntu 20.04 I'm getting bellow mentioned error. Can you please help me out. >>> The background process EA4 Install failed with a fatal error: The subprocess reported error number 127 when it ended

    Hey there! Are there any other details in the installation log? That line alone doesn't tell us much about what the problem may be, but there might be more details at /var/log/cpanel-install.log

    Hey there! Are you able to access the WHM interface with how the system is right now? If so, can you try running these commands on the machine and let me know if that allows the EasyApache 4 interface to load? touch /etc/cpanel/ea4/is_ea4 ea_install_profile --install /etc/cpanel/ea4/profiles/cpanel/default.json

    It gets stuck to initial page after root login and did not get from here when i browse the whm. I have attached screenshot.     @cPRex the ticket is... 95102007 The little explain... [QUOTE] Looking at the provided log, it appears that EasyApache4 had failed to install. As such, I went ahead and tried to re-run the installation to replicate that error. However, this time it did go through without issue and now cPanel is fully installed:

    I faced the same error with AlmaLinux 9.1 base, then I tried again and it worked. Today I tried using AlmaLinux 8.7 base more than 4 times with the same problem. I also tried with Rocky Linux 8.7 and the same problem occurred twice.

    @HaNi Ghaith - unfortunately we could not reproduce the error that @speckados saw because it worked once we logged into the server. I'm not aware of any issues that would keep EA from installing properly, but if you can reproduce this in a certain environment please submit a ticket so we can check this.

    In the last attempt, I did not update the operating system. I tried to install and it was successful. Then I updated the operating system, but I rebooted, but it did not boot successfully. I am currently doing a clean install and will try to provide more information on the issue.

    Yes, I did not succeed in installing the control panel after executing the update command at all. But I managed to do that before executing the update command yum update The reason for not booting is to change the network configuration of the server. I was able to fix it through KVM, then I executed the operating system update command. I hope I don't run into additional problems during the setup process.

    am currently experiencing the same error as you described, and I have attempted to install it on AlmaLinux 9.2 four times and once on AlmaLinux 8, but it has not worked on any of them. It's actually an urgent situation, and I've been dealing with this for hours. Is there anyone who knows the solution to this? Has this issue been resolved? Even Hetzner company is refusing to perform the installation now.
