Cookies don't keep me logged in on sites. Frequent 404 errors
I have an odd issue with some Joomla sites on my cPanel server. I can login but often when saving either a module or article it will return a 404 error even though the url is valid. Nothing except clearing cookies or using a private tab will resolve this.
I've tried to replicate this on my Digital Ocean servers but they are fine. It doesn't appear to be Joomla and I'm wondering if there's some setting on the server that I need to adjust.
Setting the cookie domain and path in Joomla doesn't make any difference either.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

Are the servers configured similarly for caching (Apache) and/or opcache (PHP)? 0 -
No idea. My usual system admin guy is away at the moment so I'm trying to deal with this myself. How would I be able to determine this? 0 -
@wintercorn In Tweak Settings -> Cookie IP validation, is it set to "strict"? If it is try to set it to "loose" or " disabled". 0 -
It's set to disabled. One of the only things which came up when searching for cookie. 0 -
Is Nginx enabled on the server? 0 -
Is Nginx enabled on the server?
No as it shows an Install button for me as per screenshot.0 -
I'm not sure what the issue may be. If it only happens with the Joomla sites, it sounds like it could be a setting there. You're always welcome to create a ticket with our team if you have root access to the server, and we can check things out on our side, but cookie issues are unlikely to be related to any cPanel settings. 0 -
It doesn't happen when I clone the site across to a Digital Ocean VPS though. 0
