Timeout when trying to open Manage Plugins

I'm experiencing a timeout when trying to open the cPanel >> Manage Plugin screen.
Full error is:

Hey there! Whenever the cPanel interface acts up, I just run a "/scripts/upcp --force" to ensure everything is working well. Can you try that and see if that resolves the issue? 0 -

I'm glad to hear that solved the issue! If you have plugins installed on the system that page can load a bit more slowly as it scans and detects the plugins in real-time, so what you're seeing is likely normal. 0 -

Hi cPRex The same issue has come back. Reran "/scripts/upcp --force" which resolved the issue. But what could be causing this problem in the first place?0 -
It definitely shouldn't be happening, so we'd likely need a ticket submitted so we can see this happening in real-time. 0 -
Hello. I have the same issue but "/scripts/upcp --force" not solve it. I didn't have installed eny pluging, and when I try to open the manage plugins option .. I am receiving the same "Not a HASH reference at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Addons/Pkgr/Cache.pm line 223..." when clicking on Manage Plugins. What was the solution for this? Everything else on the server seems to be working. I am on WHM 118.0.14. Thanks

techguide - usually when you hit that "line 223" error, there is an issue with the server's packages or RPM database. Can you try running this command on the machine, and seeing if that works well?

yum update didn't solve the problem. Had to uninstall clamav from shell. Then I could access the Manage Plugins and could re-install the clamav plugin from within Manage Plugins. I recently updated from 118.0.12 to 118.0.15 and that is when the problem started.

That's odd - I haven't heard about that issue with ClamAV on the system, but I'm glad you found a workaround.
