Invalid Date in Terminal

Hi, When I open terminal via WHM I receive an error "date: invalid date "0.0.0.0 Fri Aug 18". Screenshot attached. If I check Server Time via Server Configuration in WHM the time is correct. Is there a easy way to rectify this? Thanks

  My 1st guess is that there is something wrong in /root/.bash_profile or /root/.bashrc, or maybe /etc/bashrc :rolleyes:

  I would also confirm that direct SSH access doens't experience this issue. If the problem also exists when logging into SSH directly, the issue wouldn't be related to cPanel. As far as I am aware, we don't apply any special rules to the WHM >> Terminal process, so it's likely or more general SSH or bashrc issue with the system.

  Screenshot of Direct SSH access attached. When I login to another cPanel server I have I receive a "Welcome to cPanel & WHM 110.0" banner. I believe I used to receive the same banner on this one, but not anyway.

  Can you run the "date" command on SSH and confirm that is correct?

  Yes the date is correct when running the 'date' command. "Tue Aug 29 16:13:22 IST 2023"

  That's interesting - if you aren't seeing anything helpful in the cPanel error log (/usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log) I would recommend submitting a ticket to our team as I am not finding much on my end for this particular issue.
