CPANEL-43447 - Package's "Max Passenger Applications" Quota - Bug?

When creating a package when I set the Max Passenger Applications value to "Unlimited", whatever was left in the box left to it, gets written in the package's file on the server. 1) Look at the screenshot from a package interface. 2) Here's what's written in the package file on the server: MAXPASSENGERAPPS=1 So, what gets applied?

  Hey there! I'm not able to reproduce this issue on a test machine - when I create a package and choose the "Unlimited" radial button, that value gets written to the package file on my machine: [root@host packages]# grep PASS passengertest MAXPASSENGERAPPS=unlimited
  Can you confirm what cPanel version your'e using?

  I'm using the latest 114.0.8. I figured out how you can reproduce the bug.

  • Create a package. The default value for max pass apps is 4. In the file MAXPASSENGERAPPS=4.
  • Edit the package. Set the value to unlimited. In the file MAXPASSENGERAPPS=unlimited.
  • Edit the package. Set the value to anything other than 4, let's say 1. In the file MAXPASSENGERAPPS=1.
  • Edit the package. Set the value to unlimited. In the file MAXPASSENGERAPPS=1.

  Sure enough, I can reproduce it when using those steps on my end. I've created case CPANEL-43447 for our developers to look into this for you, and if I hear any updates on my end I'll be sure to post them here!
