Spam Assassin Setup

Anyhow know how to setup Spam Assassin ? There is a mailing list but it doesn't appear to work so I can get it setup; especially version 4.0. I'm receiving extreme amounts of spam and want to stop it. Basic setup for beginner and with some of the filters.

  I have it enabled but it still isn't removing the spam. Why I'm seeking something more in-depth as to use commands to root out what is spam etc rather then cPanel. Why if anyone has any deep knowledge in Spam Assassin.

  No spam filter system is perfect - if such a thing existed, it would be the most popular web server tool on the planet. There are other third-party options out there if you wanted to look into more advanced tools, but I'm not able to recommend anything specific on my end.

  Where is Spam Assassin installed on cPanel. I've checked a few file paths and nothing exists; does there exist a spamd directly ?
