Correct, but 114 is out now and is the stable version. Just use 9 :D

There is a big difference between active support and security support with Almalinux 8 and 9. For how long will cPanel support Almalinux 8? Until 2024 (Alma 8 active support) or until 2029 (security support)? Thanks!

Great! I was afraid I have done a terrible mistake with the last 3 servers I have installed over Alma 8. Thanks!

However I am wondering if it would be possible for Alma 8 support to remain a little behind after general support ends. For instance, maybe cPanel will add some features or maybe a latest version that is only available on AlmaLinux 9. Is this likely to happen?

Not at this point - I would imagine the development for both OS will be the same for some time.
