Sales push for KernelCare?
Hello,
I just transferred CP to a new server, from CP 110 to 114.
I get now email from my CP in the style of:
Subject:
New Security Advisor notifications with High importance
Body:
"
New Security Advisor notifications with High importance
Type Module Advice
? High Kernel A KernelCare update is available. You must take one of the following actions to ensure the system is up-to-date:
" Patch the kernel (run "kcarectl --update" on the command line).
" Update the system (run "apt -y upgrade" on the command line), and reboot the system.
"
KernelCare is a pay-for product that I didn't buy nor it is active at my CP (in the past I used a trail version of it).
Why do I get such email? it feel like a sales push

Hey hey! If you have installed the free patch you would still get these messages. 0 -
I don't recall installing any specific patch, only KernelCare in general and now I uninstalled it. I don't recall ever getting such sales email and KC was installed for some years, past the trail period. I hope this is not a direction CP is taking, be more sales pushy. 0
