Error deleting emails from main server when migrating to mailnode
Hello,
I'm facing some uncertainties during the migration process to Mailnode and would appreciate your assistance.
While migrating cPanel accounts from the main server to Mailnode, I've noticed that, in some instances, the deletion of emails from my main server wasn't carried out automatically. However, in other cases, this process occurs without any issues.
Given these exceptions, I would like to understand why this may have occurred. Additionally, I am seeking guidance on the correct and secure way to delete data from the main server without affecting Mailnode.
I appreciate in advance any assistance or clarification you can provide on this matter.
Best regards,
-
Hey there! I'm not sure we're going to have much information we can provide on the Forums for this issue. Since this is one of those "it should just work" situations, we'll likely need to see a support ticket with our team so we can find out what went wrong. 0 -

I understand! As it is a simple matter, I was avoiding creating a ticket for this issue in question. But I will open the ticket as informed! However, taking advantage of this, would there be an easy way to manually clean the email files that remained on the main server?0 -
Please post the ticket number here once you have it so I can follow along. I'm not aware of a way to manually remove the files - since it's something that shouldn't need to happen, I don't have a process in place for this that I can guarantee is safe. 0 -

Thanks for that - I'm following along with that ticket now. 0
